Activities and Things to do in Paihia

Paihia is the perfect place – the jewel of the magnificent Bay of Islands – with shimmering safe beaches and history all around us. Paihia is just a 20-minute drive from Kerikeri Airport. The towns of Paihia and Russell are perfect places to wander amongst the many shops and restaurants along the waterfront.

There are also endless activities to keep everyone occupied: deep-sea fishing, light tackle fishing, forest and beach walks, scuba diving, jet skis, kayaking, parasailing, yachting, dolphin watching, or swimming with the dolphins, sky diving, scenic flights, wine trails, Waitangi Treaty Grounds and great golf courses. Paihia is a great base for day trips around Northland such as Cape Reinga, Hokianga, Russell and Kerikeri.

We provide a free booking service for many local activities.
